GEV Offshore is delighted to announce that they have acquired the UK rights to market the exciting new anti-corrosion product known as Oxifree. The product is a sprayable polymeric resin coating designed for the protection of metallic components. When applied it provides a pliable polymeric barrier coating which will protect all types of metal components against galvanising pitting and atmospheric corrosion. Oxifree is designed to create a barrier for a range of vulnerable equipment and components from water and dust ingress. It is ideal for flanges and valves on process piping, and long term storage of equipment in normal atmospheric conditions, with a key commercial differentiator of being reusable.

GEV Offshore has recently completed some rope access maintenance work on the Ocean Rig owned semi-sub Eirik Raude. The crew completed a tough workscope including the installation of cladding panels, paint repairs and some visual inspection work. Employing a professional and technically diverse team the company was able to provide the client with a cost effective solution.

Bacton Gas Terminal - Communication Tower Inspection Project
GEV Offshore Rope Access Technicians carried out the Inspection of the 380ft Communications Tower, which involved the Close Visual Inspection of the Tower as well as a dropped Objects Survey and the removal of Redundant fixtures/fittings.
A new CCTV camera was replaced and the Navigation Lights were serviced.
Work is now underway to remove redundant Satellite Dishes and Antenna which will involve complex rigging techniques.

IRATA MEMBERSHIP - GEV Offshore has now successfully completed due diligence with the Rope Access Supervisory Body IRATA. This will provide significant peace of mind to all clients when procuring rope access crews with the added knowledge that the company is independently accountable with the aim of maintaining high standards of personnel experience, equipment and health & safety.

GEV Offshore commences trading from premises at Beacon Innovation Centre in Great Yarmouth.
Brandon Hannon and Julie Christie who will be responsible for day to day operations were both delighted to finally get up and running and to start talking with potential new clients. The GEV Offshore team come from a well grounded background in the energy industry and as such benefit from an excellent understanding of what the clients expectations are and the results they demand.
